<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of non-feed and the skew of papers without unnecessarily pressing the stacked papers against a front wall of a cassette body to impede elevation of stacked paper, and without deflection of the stacked papers when the amount of the paper is small in a paper feed cassette in which the highest paper of the stacked papers loaded on a pressure plate provided on a cassette body is pressed against an upper pick-up roller. SOLUTION: Sliding parts 41a, 43a, 45a corresponding to the length of papers are formed in a pressure plate 4, and a rear end position regulating guide 5 to regulate the rear end position of the papers corresponding to the sliding parts is attachably/detachably provided on a bottom part of the cassette 1 body. The rear end position regulating guide is provided with a guide body 51 which is a fitting part to the bottom part of the cassette body, and a guide member 53 to be energized forward by a coil spring. The guide member is brought into energized contact with the sliding parts irrespective of the tuning angle of the pressure plate to constantly regulate the rear end position of the stacked papers.</p> |
