<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dehumidifying capacity by providing the device with a partition wall to separate a first air passage communicating with a space to be dehumidified from a second air passage communicating with a space other than the space to be dehumidified. SOLUTION: A first air passage 4 communicating with a space 9a to be dehumidified is separated from a second air passage 5 communicating with a space other than the space 9a by a partition plate 8a. A Peltier element 1 is incorporated into the central portion of the plate 8a. In the Peltier element 1, directions, in which electric current is applied, can be switched over. Thus when first fins 2, for example, are used on a radiation side and second fins 3 are used on a heat absorbing side, the interior of the space 9a can be efficiently cooled and heated. And by switching directions of electric current to the element 1, vapor of water can be condensed in a condensate receiver 34 and hence the interior of the space 9a can be efficiently dehumidified in a short period of time.</p> |
