FITTING TOOL FOR HOT STICK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot stick fitting tool which has a small size and light weight and can be handled easily. SOLUTION: A fitting tool 10 for a hot stick holds one connector shell 51 fitted with a fixing nut 53 of a split connector 50 by means of an upper holder 38 and the other connector shell 42 fitted with a lock bolt 54 by means of a lower holder 39. A tightening member 35 tightens the bolt 54 by receiving a rotational force from a drive section provided below the lower holder 39 and connects wires 1 and 2 held between the shells 51 and 52 to each other. When the bolt 54 is tightened, a slip detecting means 25 makes the drive section to slip. A worker discriminates the completion of the connection by means of the connector 50 from the slip and pulls out the lower holder 39 from the lower connector shell 52 with a rope 41.
