PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a touch response which is stable over the entire keyboard and improve successive key depression when the keyboard device of the electronic musical instrument, and the electronic piano are made nearly equal in touch response to an acoustic piano as well as the touch response. SOLUTION: A jack sensor detects two positions S1 and S2 of a keyboard stroke before a let-off from the abutting against the flank 28b of a jack equivalent member 28. When those two positions S1 and S2 are detected, the let-off exerts no influence, so the positions S1 and S2 are stably detected and a time difference are obtained over the entire keyboard. Therefore, the timing and intensity of sounding are controlled according to the detection data, so the touch response which is the same with the acoustic piano and stable over the entire keyboard is obtained at the time of sounding. Further, the positions S1 and S2 are close to a stroke limit L, so even if a stroke becomes small in width on a deep side like successive key depression, it can accurately be detected and there is no break of the sounding.
|
