PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner scattering and surface staining and to realize miniaturization and the reduction of cost by providing a carrying belt magnetized to be multipolar in a toner carrying part between a cleaning device and a developing device. SOLUTION: This recycling device 4 is constituted by projecting the cylinder 15 of a toner carrying shaft and the shaft 8a of the agitator 8 of the developing device 2 inside a case 17 and laying the carrying belt 16 over them. The belt 16 is constituted of a magnetic body and magnetized in a multipolar state where an N pole and an S pole alternately exist. Therefore, the toner carried by the toner carrying shaft out of residual toner removed from the surface of a photoreceptor 1 drops to the hopper part 17a of the device 4 and only the toner having fixed magnetic force is carried by the belt 16. Therefore, the toner recovered from the photoreceptor 1 by a cleaning device 3 contains much impalpable powder, but the impalpable powder toner having weak magnetic force drops in the middle of carrying and only the toner having the magnetic force equal to or above a fixed value is carried. |
