PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high reliability by increasing the wire bonding performance of driving ICs and to reduce the size, weight and cost of a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: An upper glass substrate 2 is stuck via liquid crystals to lower glass substrate 3 to provide the device with a display region 4. The driving ICs of 8a, 8b are disposed on the sticking surface of the non-display region 9 of the lower glass substrate 3 and wiring boards 5a, 5b are fixed onto the non-sticking surface. The terminals of the driving ICs 8a, 8b and the terminals of the wiring boards 5a, 5b are conducted by wire bonding 12. |
