PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect malfunction of a superconducting coil in an early stage and protect a superconducting coil by providing an element for magnetic flux detection inside an outer vessel of a superconducting magnet, judging the presence or absence of abnormality of an output voltage of the element and indicating malfunction based on the output signal thereof. SOLUTION: The inside of an outer vessel 3 of a superconductive magnet 1 is provided with search coils CA1 to CA4 as magnetic flux detection elements. Especially, the search coils CA1 to CA4 are installed at the side of a truck and a voltage signal induced in the search coils CA1 to CA4 is sent to a judgment device 10 through signal lines 31 to 34. The judgment device 10 judges which voltage of the search coils CA1 to CA4 is abnormal and sends an alarm signal indicating abnormality and a signal of a place which is out of order to alarm display device 15 through a signal line 37. The alarm display device 15 indicates detection of malfunction by a lamp, a buzzer, a CRT, etc., and displays the place of malfunction and the degree of the malfunction. |
