<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device which improves storage and assembly work properties by holding a folding down shape of an air bag by a beltlike body and controls smooth rupture of the beltlike body, improvement of assembly work property, and expanding behavior of the air bag. SOLUTION: A rupture section 8 of a beltlike body 7 made of a woven cloth is formed by a rupture assisting cloth 8a provided in a row, and smooth rupture of the beltlike body 7 becomes possible by tilting an angle of a woven thread 9 of the woven cloth for the direction of rupture of the rupture section 8. Moreover, it is possible to obtain good expanding behavior which suppresses jumping out speed of a central part of an air bag 2 at the initial stage of expansion by rupturing the beltlike body 7 which winds the central part of the air bag after a cover which covers the air bag 2 is opened and ruptured.</p> |
