PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function of an integrated circuit itself for discriminating the trade mark and trade name of the manufacturer of the integrated circuit. SOLUTION: An ink printing machine prints a first color ink pattern on the surface of an integrated circuit package 63 through a first pattern symbol plate 73 and an in-line ink fixing machine 77 fixes the ink pattern. Then a second ink printing machine prints a second color ink pattern on the surface of the package and a second ink fixing machine fixes the second ink pattern. By repeating the above-mentioned color ink pattern printing and fixing cycles by using individual pattern masks to each other, an arbitrary pattern is printed on the surface of the integrated circuit package.
