<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily hit a ball without enlarging a loft angle by providing an impact absorbing member in the space formed on the rear side of the suite area of a front face to be a ball hitting plane between the front face and a back face. SOLUTION: Between a front face 1 to become the ball hitting plane and a back face 2, a space 3 is formed on the rear side of the suite area of the front face 1 at least and in the space 3, an impact absorbing member 4 is provided. A hosel 5, front face 1 and back face 2 are integrally formed by soft iron or any stainless materials and as the impact absorbing member 4, rubber, urethane or silicone materials can be used. In this case, the impact absorption factor of the impact absorbing member 4 is set higher than 90%. Thus, an iron golf club head, with which the ball can be easily hit without enlarging the loft angle and the range of a full shot is decreased, can be provided.</p> |
