<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device which can acquire coordinate information on the indication position of a painter by using the pointer which is wide in the permissible range of the standing position, etc., of a pointing operator and excellent in the operability for functioning as an extension of a hand. SOLUTION: The user 1 performs indicating operation by projecting the spot 8 of a laser beam on a position to be indicated with the laser beam painter 2. Then, focusing is adjusted and the spot 8 is made incident on photodetection parts (sensor) 4-6 while the center of the spot is fixed and the spot diameter is expanded; and the incidence timing of the respective sensors 4-6 is detected and an arithmetic means 7 finds the coordinates of the center of the spot 8 on the basis of respective known coordinates of the sensors 4-6 and the detected timing.</p> |
