摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability by making a phase difference detecting part into extremely simple structure to reduce the number of part items. SOLUTION: A first line pattern and a second line pattern are provided in the rotary part of a rotating machine. A first detection part 37 and a second detection part 38 for respectively detecting the change of magnetism passing through the first line pattern and the second line pattern are provided. A phase difference detecting part 58 for detecting the phase difference of the output signals of both detecting parts 37, 38 is provided. In the phase difference detecting part 58, diode slice circuits 60, 61 for respectively converting at least half-wave of the output signal of the first detection part 37 and the second detection part 38 into a nearly square wave signal are provided. A synthetic circuit 62 for composing the output signals of both diode slice circuits 60, 61 and at the same time for outputting a signal which is changed in accordance with the phase difference of both output signals is provided. An indicator 55 for indicating the output signal of the synthetic circuit 62 is provided.
