PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable pharmaceutical preparation containing a derivative in which a specific site of the amino acid sequence in interleukin-1α is modified as an active ingredient, low in toxicity, hardly manifesting adverse effects and useful for an antitumor agent, etc., by formulating the derivative together with a pharmaceutical preparation carrier into the pharmaceutical preparation. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation contains at least one of interleukin-1α derivatives, etc., having a modified amino acid sequence in which Asn at the 36-position in the amino acid sequence in interleukin-1α represented by the formula is substituted with another amino acid and Asn at the 36-position and Cys at the 141-position are respectively substituted with other amino acids as an active ingredient and is obtained by formulating the derivative together with a pharmaceutical carrier comprising an excipient such as a filler, an extender, a binder, a humectant, a disintegrator or a surfactant or a diluent, etc., into the pharmaceutical preparation. The objective pharmaceutical preparation is stable, low in toxicity, hardly causes adverse effects such as pyrogenesis, has excellent suppressing activities, etc., against proliferation of a tumorous cell and is useful as an antitumor agent, an antiinflammatory agent, a preventing agent for radiation damage, a prophylatic and therapeutic agent, etc., for infectious diseases. |
