PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct the fluctuation of the laser light output of a transmitter caused by the temperature change or secular change of a substrate. SOLUTION: The optical transmitter of a parallel optical connection system transmits a plurality of nonreturn-to-zero DC data signals and at least one clock signal to an optical receiver through a plurality of optical fibers. The transmitter is provided with a high-level laser output integral vertical resonator surface emission laser(VCSEL) 110, laser driving circuits 120 for driving the laser 110, and a laser driving current regulator 150. Each laser driving circuit has one input terminal and one control terminal. The regulator 150 is composed of a VCSEL 160, a laser driving circuit 170 for driving the VCSEL 160, a photodetector 180, and a laser driving current compensating circuit 190. |
