The invention relates to a multi-layer film comprising a layer (A) made of a polyamide 6 type polyamide (a) comprising 70 to 100 mol % of structural units represented by the formula (1): &lsqbstr& NH-(CH2)5-CO &rsqbstr& a layer (B) made of a polyamide (b1) obtained from a diamine comprising 70 mol % or more of meta-xylylenediamine and a dicarboxylic acid comprising 70 mol % or more of an alpha , omega - aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 6 to 12 carbon atoms or a mixed polyamide (b3) comprising 60 % by weight or more of the polyamide (b1) and 40 % by weight or less of an aliphatic polyamide (b2), a layer (C) made of an adhesive polyolefin (c1) or a mixed resin (c3) of the adhesive polyolefin (c1) and a polyolefin (c2), and a layer (D) made of a polyolefin (d), the thickness of the layer (A) being 5 to 80 mu m, the thickness of the layer (B) being 5 to 50 mu m, and the overall thickness of said multi-layer film being 15 mu m or more and can provide a film excellent in impact resistance and gas barrier properties as a packaging material for food, chemicals, electronic parts, etc.
