PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a partner passenger to easily operate a navigation device. SOLUTION: A navigation device 1 is provided with a first display device 24 and a first manipulating device 27 for driver in the main body 3. A display manipulating device 4 for fellow passenger is connected to the main body 3 through a cable 6. The device 4 is provided with a second display device 25 and a second manipulating device 25 and can be used at different places other than the driver's seat, for example, on the knee of a fellow passenger siting on the assistant driver's seat. The manipulating device 25 can operate the navigation device 1 while the vehicle is running. The second visually displaying area of the second display device 25 is wider than that of the first display device 24. The second manipulating device 28 of the displaying and manipulating device 4 is realized by combining the picture displayed in the second visually displaying area and a coordinate inputting means provided on the area. When a menu picture is displayed in response to the operation of the second manipulating device 28, the menu picture is displayed on the second display device 25 only. |
