PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight dielectric resonator device which can be easily attached into a compact communication device by providing the dielectric resonance elements on an insulated substrate and putting directly a shielding cover on the substrate. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 uses a printed board of BT resin, glass epoxy, etc., or a ceramic board of a low or high dielectric constant. Then a ground conductor 6 is formed from the peripheral part of the upper surface through almost an entire lower surface via the end face of the substrate 1 by means of a copper foil, a gold electrode or a silver electrode. The cylindrical dielectric resonance elements 4 made of ceramics of a high dielectric constant are fixed by adhesion at the prescribed positions on the substrate 1. Then a shielding cover 2 is put on the substrate 1 to shield up the surroundings of the elements 4. In such a constitution of a dielectric resonator device, the elements 4 of both sides are electromagnetically connected to the signal couplers 3. The elements 4 adjacent to each other are also electromagnetically connected to each other. Thus this resonator device functions as a filter consisting of a dielectric resonator of three stages of TE01δmodes.
