摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an excellent torque transmission capability to be exhibited under a severe operational condition by composing a drive member so that a protrusion provided on one of the rotor member in the radius direction may fit into a recessed part provided on the other rotor member in the radius direction at a part of the respective boundary surfaces between the rotor members of the drive member. SOLUTION: A electromagnetic coupling device has its drive member side actuating surface 12a and its driver member side actuating surface 26a coupled together and power transmission is practiced by running magnetic fluxΦthrough a magnetic path shown by a dotted line and solidifying magnetic particles 29 by the magnetic fluxΦ, when the electromagnetic coupling device is electrified from a spring ring assembly 22 through a terminal block 18b and an exciting coil 17 is magnetized. In this case, a tapered recessed part 115 expanding towards a drive plate 13 is formed on a part of the boundary surfaces of both rotor members 11, 12 and a tapered protrusion 12b provided on the rotor member 12 is fitted into the recessed part 11b. Thus position dislocation between both rotors 11, 12 can be prevented from occurring even if the rotor member 12 is thermally expanded and plastically deformed.
