PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and rapidly detect the connecting mistake of a refrigerant tube 11 and a signal wiring at the time of installing in a multizone air conditioner that a plurality of indoor units are connected to one outdoor unit. SOLUTION: The method for trially operating a multizone air conditioner comprises the steps of operating the conditioner according to the signal from the controller 4 of an outdoor unit O after the installation construction is completed, temporarily stopping the operation after a predetermined time is elapsed, detecting the refrigerant temperature of the inlets of heat exchangers 5 of indoor units A, B, C after a predetermined time is elapsed after stopping, storing it, then, restarting the compressor 1 and an outdoor blower 3 of the unit O, stopping the indoor blowers 3 of the units A, B, C, detecting the refrigerant temperatures of the inlets of the exchangers 5 of the units A, B, C after the set time is elapsed in the state that a motor driven expansion valve 7 is fully opened, comparing it with the stored value, displaying the effect that the refrigerant tube 11 and the wiring 12 are normally connected if the temperature difference therebetween is the predetermined difference or more on the display unit of the controller of the outdoor unit, or displaying the malfunction on the display unit if it is the predetermined difference or less. |
