<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely connect a pipe by preventing foreign matters such as water, dust, etc., from entering and improving airtightness, and to reduce load on a worker by simplifying the connecting works. SOLUTION: A pipe joint is composed of a main body cylinder 20 having outer circumferential screws 28 in the outer circumference in the both ends, a ring packing 31 which is arranged in the outer circumference of the main body cylinder 20 in the adjacent to the outer circumferential screws 28, a mounting cylinder 32 which is threadly attached to the outer circumferential screws 28 and projectingly provided with a projecting stage part 39 on the outer end of the internal circumference tapered face 35 provided in the internal circumference, a fastening ring 38 which has an outer end part 45 for this projecting stage part 39 provided in the outer end direction so as to slide the outer circumference in the circumferential direction in relation to the internal circumference tapered face 35 and is provided with a slit groove 40 for contracting its diameter, and a contact packing 50 arranged in the outer end side of the fastening ring 38.</p> |
