PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a long-life platinum temperature sensor which is small-size and lightweight and excels in productivity and reliability. SOLUTION: This sensor has a flexible thin plate structure. For the flexible thin plate, it has a flexible substrate 6 which is obtained by deforming a thin plate of severalμm to 50μm thick into a cylinder-like form or the partial form of a cylinder. Further, it has the structure of keeping the shape of the substrate 6 by elastically supporting the end of the flexible substrate 6 with a relatively rigid base body which has a plurality of irregular parts in the surface comprising, for instance, alumina based ceramic, metal, the simple substance of a semiconductor or the complex of them other than the flexible substrate 6. Further, a part of the same flexible substrate 6 is projected, and the surface of the projected part is constituted so as to have a lead wire connection part 8, whereby it has the structure of three-dimensionally coating the lead wire connection part 8 inclusive of the surface and the rear of a substrate projection part 11 with an insulating protective material in the state that the lead wire 1 is connected.
