PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a low-cost air conditioner and to perform the sufficient heat insulation effect without absorbing the condensate into a heat insulator by laminating the insulator on the outer surface of a drain pan, and forming the insulator of two-layer type of closed cell foam heat insulator and open cell foam heat insulator. SOLUTION: A drain pan 4 for receiving the condensate condensed by a heat exchanger 2 is disposed under the exchanger 2. Closed cell foam heat insulator 9 having relatively high hardness is laminated on the outer surface of the pan 4, and an open cell foam heat insulator 10 of relatively soft urethane foam is laminated on the outer surface in a two-layer type. Accordingly, even if the surface temperature of the pan 4 is lowered, or the steam in the air in the insulator 9 is condensed by the closed cell foam insulator 9, the insulator does not absorb the air of high temperature and high humidity from the periphery due to the closed cell foam insulator but heat insulating performance can be performed. Accordingly, the surface of the open cell foam insulator 10 of the outside is not condensed, but sufficient heat insulating effect is performed. |
