PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plastic lens for high-refractive index spectacles which has high impact resistance, extremely decreases interference fringes and is light in weight. SOLUTION: Primer layers 3, 3-1 having a film thickness of >=0.8μare formed on the surface of a lens body 2 consisting of polyurethane resin for which a polyisocyanate compd., polythiol, sulfur-contg. polyol, etc., are used and which has a refractive index of >=1.59. Further, organosiloxane hard coating layers 4, 4-1 having a refractive index of >=1.47 are formed thereon, by which the productivity is improved by widely confining the thickness of respective layers. The lens is so formed as to maintain mechanical strength of the impact resistance energy value of >=40 times 0.204 joule of the value stipulated by FDA when the central thickness of the lens after coating with the metallic thin films is >=0.7 to <1.2mm. Heterogeneous layers are constituted between the respective layers, by which the reflectivity of the transmitted light is lowered and the interference fringes are prevented. UV rays are cut by compounding UV absorbents with the hard coating layers 4, 4-1, by which the deterioration of the lens body 2 and the respective layers is prevented and the eyeballs are protected. |
