PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fine the minimum variable width. SOLUTION: Charging/discharging characteristics of a small-capacity capacitor and the on-state resistances of transistors are used. That is, a charging current IC is supplied from (n) TRs Q(p) connected in parallel, and a resultant value Re /i of on-state resistance of (i) TRs is changed by changing the number (i) of TRs controlled to be turned on by one to finely adjust a time constantτ1 /(i)=CRe /i for the rise of a terminal voltage Vc , thus minutely varying the propagation delay time. Vin is a square wave changed to L/H, and one of TRs Q1 and Q2 is turned off when the other is turned on, and turning-on/off of TRs Q3 and Q4 coincides with that of the TR Q1 . When the TR Q2 is switched from the turning-off state to the turning-on state, a TR Q4 is switched from the turning-on state to the turning-off state, and a current I2 charges a capacitor 5. When the TR Q2 is switched from the turning-on state to the turning-off state, the TR Q1 is switched from the turning-off state to the turning-on state, and the electric charge is discharged through the TR Q4 .
|
