PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate effective focal length information for every photographic distance and to improve the precision of exposure control and stroboscopic light emission control by reading out and outputting effective focal length data, corresponding to the position of a focusing lens group detected by a position detecting device, out of a storage part and outputting the data. SOLUTION: A CPU 5 is stored previously with the effective focal length information. On the basis of zoom ratio information determined by the positions of lens groups L1, L2, L3, and L4 detected by a brush 16 and a pattern 15 and photographic distance information determined by the positions of the lens groups detected by a brush 18 and a pattern 17, the CPU 5 reads out and outputs the effective focal length information determined by the both. The outputted effective focal length information is transmitted to a CPU 4 through lead wires 21 and 22 and contacts 6 and 7. The CPU 4 finds photographic powerβand a subject range 1 by using the transmitted effective focal length information. Consequently, the exposure is controlled and the stroboscopic light emission is controlled. |
