PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map displaying and processing device having a scenery picture displaying function. SOLUTION: The scenery picture taken with an image pickup camera 11a at an arbitrary point on a road is stored in the image information storing section 17B of a storage device 17 together with the positional information of the point under the control of a processing section 10. Under the control of the section 10, in addition, the scenery picture corresponding to a picture taking position indicating marker is displayed together with a map when a present position indicating marker approaches the picture taking position indicating marker and the present location of its own vehicle enters a prescribed distance zone from the point at which the scenery picture is taken. |
