The pin (2) of the plug (1) projects from its end face (A) along the axis (3) for a first mean distance (AB), and its end (4) is set at an angle. The inside of the transparent cover (5) has an angled working surface (7) at a second mean distance (BC) where a small fraction (e.g. 4%) (Si) of the refracted axial ray (S) is reflected. The remainder (Sa) is transmitted into the cover and reflected from a point (D) on a semitransparent mirror portion (9) of the outside working surface (6). Whether the cover is fitted or not, very little of the emission can be reflected back into the pin.
