PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shutter chance from being missing by quickly recording an image in the image input device using a recording medium such as an electronic development recording medium. SOLUTION: When a main switch is closed, (S11) an operation of a recording medium actuating signal generating circuit is started (S12), and a recording operation to an electronic development recording medium 30 is inhibited. After the recording medium actuating signal generating circuit is recognized to be in standby (S13), when a release switch reaching the closing state is recognized (S14), photometric operation is started (S15). When the photometric operation is finished (S16), image pickup recording is conducted (S17). After the image pickup recording is conducted (S18), the recording medium actuating signal generating circuit is operated again (S19) and charging is started. Even when the release switch is closed or that time (S20), no image pickup recording is conducted. |
