<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily disassemble and take a used CRT out of a CRT equipment for reuse by supplying power to a metal band to be heated and expanded. SOLUTION: A cabinet for a used CRT equipment is cut and a separated CRT 103 is carried to a collecting process. Electrode terminals 201A, 201B are mounted on a bracket 106 for a metal explosion proof band 105 for the CRT 103. A controller 203 controls a power supply 202 10 accordance with CRT information to supply power to the explosion proof band 105 via the electrode terminals 201A, 201B corresponding to the size of the CRT 103. The explosion proof band 105 is wholly heated and expanded to cancel the fastening force of the explosion proof band 105 to the CRT 103 so that the explosion proof band 105 can easily be removed. At this time, the temperature rise of the exploision proof band 105 is detected by an informed sensor 205 and power supplied to the explosion proof band 105 by the power supply 202 is determined by the controller 203.</p> |
