Date May 17, 1996A plastic pre-filled syringe which includes an open ended barrel sealed at one end by a moveable stopper and sealed at the other end by a closure frangibly connected to the syringe. The syringe also includes an overcap which can be moved so to engage with the closure whereby removal of the overcap will cause the closure to be separated from the rest of the syringe and reveal the contents for injection.
