In the case it can not be detected (S703), original estimating processing (S704 to S706) is executed. In the original estimating processing, the size and the direction of the copying paper and a copying mode are confirmed. Then, the size and the direction of the original are estimated based on both of them. Thus, even in the case the size of the original can not be detected, it is estimated and the appropriate copying is executed. |
