The adhesive tape dispenser has a housing (12) which is provided with a unilaterally open housing body (14) for receiving a roll of adhesive tape (34). The opening (48) of the housing body (14) can be closed by a cover (18). The cover (18) is secured on the housing body (14) by rotation relative thereto. This is effected for example by a bayonet closure or by a threaded closure.
