PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistant electric wire housing to set an electric wire in a passage through a barrier wall such as a diaphragm for an aircraft without disrupting fire resistant and sealing functions of the diaphragm. SOLUTION: A fire resistant electric wire housing 9 contains a sleeve 13 to surround wire bundle 11 and a tube-like housing 19. The tube-like housing 19 contains a cover plate 17 installed on a diaphragm 21. Afterwards, the sleeve 13 is inserted into the tube-like housing 19. A hole 35 passing through a wall of the sleeve 13 is used to inject a sealant to prevent steam and flame from passing through the firs resistant electric wire housing 9 into a void of the sleeve 13.
