PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small and quick charger for an electric automobile. SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of chargers 14 comprises a charging controller 23 having at least one of a pause mode operating function for making a pause in the operation of a battery 13, and a discharging mode operating function for discharging power from the battery 13. Charging operation of a plurality of batteries 13 is controlled while repeating at least two states, including the charging mode, out of three states of charge mode, pause mode and discharging mode every predetermined time. Furthermore, the batteries 13 are controlled mutually such that at least one set batteries makes a pause in the charging operation. |
