PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the carrying time of a document and to efficiently execute a copying action by providing a device with a first document feeder, one or plural second document feeders, an action mode set means and a mode selection means. SOLUTION: The document on the document platen 231 of the ADF 230 is delivered to a contact glass 101, exposed and copied on a transfer paper. The next document is started to be carried in the midst of the exposure by the ADF 230. Then, when the exposure is finished, an inverse ejection path 212 is selected and the document on the glass 101 is ejected to the document platen 204 of the RDF 200 while being inverted. Since the next document is started to be supplied before the document set in the midst of the exposure is exposed in such a way, delay for exchanging the document is eliminated. When it is detected by a document set detection sensor 221 that all the documents are carried, an ADF reservation permission signal is transmitted to an operation part by a CPU 241. Then, the document is placed on the ADF 230 and it is displayed that a copying mode can be reserved. Thus, a waiting time is drastically shortened. |
