PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality from being deteriorated due to the sticking of contact part of an image forming means to an image forming medium and to always form a high-quality image by preliminarily driving the image forming medium by a control means in a fixed time after a power source is turned on. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 is provided with a preliminary driving means preliminarily driving a photoreceptor drum 1 and a time counting means counting the time until the fixed time elapses after the power source of an image forming device is turned on. Then, the CPU 10 is provided with a function driving the preliminary driving means when the counting action of the time counting means is finished. Thus, since the drum 1 is preliminarily driven only in the previously set fixed time after the power source is turned on, the fixing of the contact part such as a cleaning blade 7a is released by the preliminary driving action by the CPU 10 even when the contact part is fixed to the surface of the drum 1 because the drum 1 is driven after it is stopped in a long time or it is driven in a high temperature state. Therefore, the rotating action of the drum 1 is smoothed and the high-quality image without jitter is formed from the image of a first sheet. |
