PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a housing without requiring additional work to housing half parts by forming the housing of a regenerative pump type compressor out of a synthetic resin, and forming a driving shaft so as to be surrounded with a radial directional clearance on the annular edge of an inserting opening. SOLUTION: An impeller is rotatably arranged in a housing of a regenerative pump type compressor composed of two housing half parts, and a hub part is fixedly arranged on the free end of a shaft acting as a driving shaft of a motor joined to one housing half part by a flange. This driving shaft projects in the housing through an inserting opening formed in a hub swelling part of one housing half part, and the annular edge of the inserting opening surrounds the driving shaft with a radial directional clearance. Since this clearance exists, the radial direction of the housing half parts related to the impeller arranged on a necessary driving shaft can be easily adjusted with slight dimensional accuracy of a synthetic resin material. |
