PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stir toner when a power source is turned on whether printing is executed or not and to always maintain fluidity of the toner by providing a toner supplying means with a toner carrying means and a toner stirring means and driving the stirring means for a specified time when the power source is turned on. SOLUTION: When the power source is turned on, a gear 15 is displaced to a position shown by 15' in figure so as to release the meshing of gears 15 and 14. A motor 13 drives only the stirring member 18 through a gear 12 for a specified time. By such constitution, toner stirring operation is executed even in the image forming device, where the number of times of printing is far less than the number of times of actuating the device, such as a microfilm reader printer, the toner in a toner container is prevented from being solidified even in the case printing is not executed for a long time, whereby the excellent fluidity of the toner is maintained. In the case the toner must be supplied, the energizing of a solenoid, etc., is prevented so that the gear 15 may not be displaced. |
