FULL-COLOR TONER, DEVELOPER COMPOSITION, AND MULTI-COLOR IMAGE FORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make high image quality and developing property compatible (proper density and photographic fog prevention). SOLUTION: This full-color toner contains a binding resin and color materials, the volumetric average grain size of the toner is within the range 3.0-9.0μm, and the volumetric average grain size and the color material content satisfy the equation 11.0/R<=C<=21.5/R, where R is 1/2 (μm) of the volumetric average grain size of the toner, and C indicates the color material content (wt.%). The toner quantity developed on the copying paper with the full-color toner satisfies the equation 0.116R<=TMA<=0.223R for development, where R is 1/2 (μm) of the volumetric average grain size of the toner, and TMA indicates the toner weight (mg/cm<2> ) developed at a single-color solid section on the copying paper.
