SINGE COATED OPTICAL FIBER RIBBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a singe coated optical fiber ribbon with which the easy execution of leading is possible without flawing the surface of an optical fiber in leading. SOLUTION: This singe coated optical fiber ribbon 1 is constituted by forming a secondary coating layer 5 on the circumference of the optical fiber 2. This secondary coating layer 5 consists of a laminated structure of >=2 layers having the innermost layer 3 of a low Young's modulus and the outermost layer 4 of a high Young's modulus. A rip cord 6 is embedded in the innermost layer 3 of the low Young's modulus along the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber 2 in the state of parting this cord from the optical fiber 2.
