<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of water drops and dusts into output line inserting pipes from their openings without using any sealing member, such as a rubber tube, etc., by providing the whole bodies of the inserting pipes on the front face of an insulating case and opening the pipes toward the lead-out side of a lead terminal for earth. SOLUTION: Output line inserting pipes 13 are provided on both sides of the front face of an insulating case 1 and the openings of the pipes 13 are provided on the lead-out side of a lead wire 8 for earth. The pipes 13 have different lengths and the forming positions of the pipes 13 in the length direction are also made different from each other. In addition, the openings of the pipes 13 are positioned on the inside of the side edge sections of the case 1. The intervals between the openings of the pipes 13 and the side edges of the case are set so that output lines can be bent naturally when a variable resistor is mounted on a substrate. Therefore, the openings of the pipes 13 are opened downward when the resistor is attached to a device and the infiltration of water drops and dusts into the pipe 13 from the openings can be prevented.</p> |
