PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a display such as sign, bar code and pattern, etc., showing the recording contents of a recorded information signal by providing an interference area formed on a substrate by plural interference grooves. SOLUTION: The substrate 3 of this optical disk 1 is provided with a signal recording area 3A and the interference area 3B, and a pit 8 being the information signal is recorded on the signal recording area 3A. The interference area 3B is provided out of the signal recording area 3A, and is constituted of plural interference grooves 9 making light interfere with each other, and forms the display showing the recording contents of the information signal recorded on the signal recording area 3A. Thus, since the interference area 3B causes a difference in luminance due to the interference action of the light, the interference area 3B constituted of plural interference grooves 9 is visualized clearly, and a display such as sign and bar code, etc., is easily provided. |
