<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the phase pull-in time for a capstan motor and to quickly stabilize tape traveling by performing phase control with a prescribed timing within a period until the capstan motor reaches its target speed. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a 2nd phase comparator circuit 110 for generating a pseudo pulse for performing the phase control from a CTL signal, an FG signal to be regenerated, and a tape speed based on a tape command signal outputted from a tape speed input circuit 113, making a phase comparison with a reference signal and calculating a driving data for driving the capstan motor 115. Further, the phase comparison between the generated pseudo pulse and the reference signal is carried out until the capstan motor 115 reaches its target revolving speed, and the driving data corresponding to the obtained phase difference is outputted from the 2nd phase comparator circuit 110, thus performing drive control of the capstan motor 115.</p> |
