PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a speed change feeling by providing proper skip speed change control according to ON/OFF mode at high speed traveling time of third speed and fourth speed. SOLUTION: In skip control to be shifted down at D range traveling time, skip speed change is performed so as to be shifted down to first speed from third speed, and to second speed from fourth speed. That is, in skip speed change control to first speed from third speed in ON condition, third speed travel is performed in a condition of actuating first to fourth friction elements B1, C1, B2 and C2. When skip speed change to first speed is performed in this condition, fourth and fifth solenoid valves S4 and S5 are turned on in the initial stage of speed change, and drive pressure to be supplied to the third and the fourth friction element B2 and C2 is converted into torque pressure. When speed change is completed, a third solenoid valve S3 is turned off, and sixth and seventh solenoid valves S6 and S7 are turned on. Therefore, a speed change feeling can be improved. |
