PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image reproducing device where a soft focus image is generated by composing blurred image data with image data where tone conversion is executed and blur masking processing is not executed and generating image data to be used in image reproduction. SOLUTION: In image data inputted to a frequency processing means 103, a tone signal level is converted by a tone converting means 110. After conversion, image data is transmitted to a bypass and inputted to a luminance signal converting means 111 having a function for converting the chrominance signals of R, G and B in image data into luminance signals. Then, the luminance signal is inputted to a low-pass filter 112, a high frequency component and an intermediate frequency component are cut and the luminance signal consisting of only the low frequency component is generated. The luminance signal is inputted to a dynamic range compressing means 113, a dynamic range is compressed and it is composed with image data which is transmitted to a main path, by an image data composing means 114. |
