PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time till a printer section is available of printing by suppressing undesired recovery when the facsimile equipment rises from the low power consumption mode to the normal operation mode. SOLUTION: When a printer section 200 wakes up from a sleep mode, a time counted by a recovery timer 1a in a facsimile control section, that is, a time when the printer section 200 stays in the sleep mode 200, is sent to the printer section 200 via a 2-way bus 23 as time data. A CPU 12 in the printer section 200 adds the time data having been stored in an NVRAM 18 when the facsimile equipment enters the low power consumption mode to the received time data, discriminates a recovery level based on the sum time data and executes the recovery. |
