PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the image of a traveling enable area, within which a vehicle can travel with the remaining quantity of fuel at present, while superposing it on a map image displayed on a display. SOLUTION: The road map image based on road data read out from a D-RAM 12 and the current position image of the vehicle based on data detected by a distance sensor 2 and an azimuth sensor 1 are displayed on the liquid crystal display 8A of a display operating part 8, and a CPU 10 operates the traveling-enable distance of the vehicle based on the traveling speed, traveling distance and current position of the vehicle detected by the distance sensor 2 and the azimuth sensor 1, the remaining quantity of fuel detected by a remaining fuel gauge 21 at the vehicle and the quantity of fuel consumed by the vehicle detected by a jet fuel gauge 22. According to the command of the CPU 10, the traveling-enable area image is displayed while being superposed on the road map image displayed on the display 8A, the area where traveling is enabled with the remaining fuel of the vehicle at present is read on the road map image, the timing of fuel filling is exactly judged, and the vehicle can be efficiently traveled. |
