BOBBIN TAKE-UP STRUCTURE FOR OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up structure which does not slacken the optical fibers taken up on a bobbin in rewinding the optical fibers. SOLUTION: The optical fibers 1 are taken up on the take-up bobbin 3 by interposing optical fiber holding materials 2 having a tight adhesion property and release property between the optical fibers 1 taken up on the take-up bobbin 3 for the optical fibers 1 and the bobbin 3 and between the optical fibers. Foamed polyethylene resins or UV curing resins are preferably used as the holding materials 2. The structure described above is easily obtd. if the surfaces of the optical fibers 1 are coated with the plastic materials and the optical fibers 1 are taken up on the take-up bobbin 3 before the complete curing of the plastic materials or the optical fibers are impregnated with the liquid holding materials 2 and the materials are solidified after the optical fibers 1 are taken up on the bobbin 3.
