PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent phase interference when waveforms are added and put together by putting the envelopes and formants of other intermediate and weak touches on the frequency of a reference source waveform (e.g. strong touch). SOLUTION: The source waveform (strong touch) and reference waveform (intermediate touch) are separated into periodic components and aperiodic components by periodic/aperiodic component separating circuits 1a and 1b. The periodic components are sent to envelope extractors 3aa and 3ba through harmonic separating circuits 2a and 2b and the aperiodic components are sent to envelope extractors 3ab and 3bb. Then, adders 5ba and 5bb put the envelope of the reference waveform on the frequency of the source waveform. Then, formant frequency characteristic extracting and composing devices 4ba and 4bb put the formants of respective reference waveforms on the pitch of the source waveform for every harmonic component and aperiodical component and they are added and put together by an adder 5b to generate a desired intermediate hit waveform. |
