PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use a hardware sound source even though a software sound source is provided. SOLUTION: When performance information is transmitted from a sequencer program, it is sent to an application program interface API 27 for outputting to a hardware sound source 12, and the information is transmitted to an API 22 to output to a software sound source 23. Thus, a musical sound is generated from either one of the sound sources. The selection of the sound source is made for every performance part. Moreover, both sound sources are simultaneously used for sound generation, if required. |
